Hydro Vacuum Excavators

When precision earth moving is required a hydro vacuum excavator is used.

Applications include:

• creating trenches, wells, and access to pipes and communication cables of smaller diameters in places hard to reach for most types of equipment,
• precision digging in places where there are already existing pipes and communications.

The principle that this system is based on is rather simple.

Pressurized water is pumped to the excavation site through
a specialized hose from a water tank that is attached to the lorry. The pressure of the water is sufficient to wash away the soil without causing damage to existing pipes and communications.

At the same time the loosened soil and rocks are sucked out, creating a trench or a localized ditch.
