Idealarc DC–1500; Idealarc AC–1200 — both power sources are intended for round the clock operation. A combination of these two power supplies is employed in multi–arc welding: the first arc is powered by the DC–1500, and the rest are handled by the AC–1200. To obtain 3000 amperes of combined current at 100% load, parallel connection of two DC–1500 power sources is established. The DC–1500 is recommended for use with the NA–3 and NA–5 automatic welding heads, as well as with the LT–56 and LT–7 self–propelled mechanized wire feeders. Idealarc AC–1200 — this is a CC power source intended for automatic AC submerged arc welding. It can work in tandem with the leading DC type power supplies, including the DC–655, DC–1000 and DC–1500. The power supply provides for a high degree of stability and reliability during the welding process and was designed to work with the NA–4 automatic head. In addition, the AC–1200 can be used with the NA–4S4, NA–3444 welding heads as well as with the LT–56 and LT–6S6 self–propelled mechanized wire feeders. It is also possible to combine two AC–1200's to work in a Scott connection. |
